On January 24, 2020, Bitfinex announced they had listed Tether Gold (XAUt). The new listing will have markets for XAUt/USD, XAUt/USDt, and XAUt/BTC.
What is Tether Gold (XAUt)?
Tether Gold is a stablecoin backed by physical gold. The asset is offered by TG Commodities Limited. A single XAUt represents exactly one troy fine ounce of gold in a London Good Delivery gold bar.
